Donald is the editor of News Photographer magazine, the NPPA Web site, and
an annual print edition of the Best Of Photojournalism award-winning
photographs. He has a thirty-year career in photojournalism as a
photographer, picture and graphics editor, director of photography, writer,
and new media producer. Winslow worked for Reuters as a photojournalist and
editor based in Washington, D.C. and for Reuters NewMedia, in Reston, VA,
and New York City. His newspaper career includes The Palm Beach Post, The
Pittsburgh Press, The Milwaukee Journal Co., The Republic in Columbus, IN,
and The Wabash Plain Dealer. While at REUTERS he worked on developing early
applications for digital technology and remote transmitting for traditional
news assignments, such as the White House, inaugurations, and sporting
events. At CNET Networks in San Francisco he was the Director of Photography
for CNET Online. He is co-founder of a non-profit charity organization, New
Media for Non Profits.

- Jim Straight
- Jim joined the NPPA in May 2007. Prior to joining NPPA, he worked at two other non-profits: as Director of the the Hormone Foundation, and Director of Programs and Development for the Kidney Foundation, both in Washington, DC. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1995 with a BA in Psychology. As NPPA's Executive Director he is responsible for overall administrative oversight and planning for the organization.

- Mindy Hutchison
- Mindy joined the NPPA staff in September 2005. She is responsible for the overall membership activities of the association. In addition to assisting with questions and requests, she oversees member benefits and services, administers the processing of memberships, and maintains the NPPA member database. Mindy also handles office management, special projects, subscriptions and distribution issues for News Photographer, mailings, and various bookkeeping operations for the NPPA. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BS in Sociology.

- Stephen Sample
- Stephen joined the NPPA staff in 2001, after 6 years in technical support, Q&A, and software development. He graduated from Swarthmore College in 1994 with a combined BA in Astrophysics and Linguistics. At NPPA, Stephen is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of the NPPA website, as well as the internal network and computer systems. On his days off, he builds tiger cages.

- Thomas Kenniff
- Thomas joined the NPPA in November 2005. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University--"Go Wolfpack!"--with a degree in Business Management. His responsibilities with the NPPA include managing the e-store, which involves every step of product merchandising, from selection to shipping, and accounting. The end goal being that the NPPA store provides low cost, high quality products, along with excellent customer service. Thomas's other duties include contest coordinator which involves playing a lead role assisting contest chairs, volunteers and entrants in the implementation of the Best of Photojournalism- Television, Web, Editing and Still Photography Contest divisions. He regularly sends members email updates about current NPPA/photojournalism business. Thomas also receives and accounts for registrations and funds from a variety of other NPPA events and activities that take place over the year.
