Regions

Regions

What purpose do the regions serve?

For administrative purposes, members are assigned to one of 11 regions on the basis of the individual member's current home address. This assignment determines not only what regional publication a member receives but what clip contest region the member is eligible to enter.

For members in the US and Canada, regional membership also determines representation in the Board of Directors. All other members are represented by the Board Member Representative.

Some regions also provide additional services such as mailing lists and regional websites. For more information about regional activities, and a concise listing of regional officers, follow the links to the individual regional pages.

How do I find my region?

  1. Log in, and your region number will appear on this page automatically
  2. Check the table of regional geography

If you live outside the US and Canada, look for your country or area of the globe. Otherwise, look for your state or province. For concision, geographic areas such as the Mideast, Oceania, or South America are listed as units rather than as individual countries. If you aren't sure which countries are included in an area, see the appropriate regional page for a listing of all the countries in the region.
