Overall the category had 10 great entries! The use of nats was good on all stories, pacing needed some work here and there, but over all, it was all solid photography and editing. Each story had a beginning, middle, and end...although subtle, they were there. There were a could of jumpcuts in a couple stories, but overall fine work. The judges thought the photog's really thought about their shots, framing, and sequencing.
One of the biggest problems was that most interviews were done by the standard head and shoulders. Looser shots would add to stories. The judges also felt a majority of the stories were way too long and the lighting could have been better.
