Published by The Poynter Institute in partnership with Andrews McMeel Publishing, President Obama: Election 2008 represents a collaboration among dozens of U.S. and international newspapers, including: Anchorage Daily News, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, Rocky Mountain News, St. Petersburg Times, Staten Island Advance, The Boston Globe, The (Raleigh) News & Observer, The Philadelphia Tribune, The Times-Picayune, USA Today, and college papers, ethnic press, and international publications. The book also features an introduction written by award-winning Doonesbury cartoonist, Gary Trudeau. NPPA is a publication sponsor of the book.
Proceeds from the book go to support training for journalists who continue to live their life’s passion in print, online or on air.
