DURHAM, NC (March 25, 2009) – Denise McGill, national secretary of the National Press Photographers Association, has counted the votes and determined the winners in Region 6, 8, and 10's month-long online Director and Associate Director elections.
In Region 6, Jim Michalowski was re-elected Director and Mike Hotz was elected to Associate Director.
In Region 8, Kevin Martin was elected Director and Tim Jones was elected to Associate Director. Jones has previously served as Region 8's Director.
In Region 10, Sandy Huffaker was elected Director and Timothy Hart was elected to Associate Director.
"Elections for odd-numbered regions will be held later this year," McGill said. "If you are interested in serving, or know someone who is, please contact your Regional Director."
McGill also said, "Goodbye to outgoing Region 10 Director Tim Reese ... thank you for your service to the organization."
