DURHAM, NC (April 27, 2009) – Clyde Mueller, a past president of the National Press Photographers Association, has been appointed as NPPA's new Resolutions chairperson.
NPPA president Bob Carey said that any proposed resolutions to be considered by NPPA's board of directors during their annual business meeting should be emailed to Mueller before May 5 by writing to clydemueller@comcast.net. The proposed resolutions should also be CC'd to NPPA national secretary Denise McGill at secretary@nppa.org.
Members should feel free to contact Mueller or McGill directly with any questions about proposed resolutions.
NPPA's board of directors will meet June 9-10 during NPPA's Convergence '09 event in Las Vegas, NV.
Mueller is director of photography at The New Mexican in Santa Fe, NM. He's an NPPA past president having served in 2001 and a current member of the Best of Photojournalism (BOP) contest committee.
