Europe's First Large Format Photography Group Launches Web Site

 

POZNAN, POLAND (January 14, 2010) – The Large Format Photographers Association in Europe today launched their new Web site, LargeFormatPhotography.eu, and they'd like large format photographers and National Press Photographers Association members around the the world to know about their organization and to take part in their large format photography forums.

Started in 2006 in Poland, the Large Format Photographers Association spread across eastern Europe and today their goal is to use the new Web site to gather large format photographers into one central meeting place to share their work and participate in discussions about their photography and equipment.

Marcin Ożarek, a Polish photographer who has been part of the team building the LFPA's new Web site, has featured NPPA's News Photographer magazine on their new home page with links back to NPPA. Ożarek says he hopes NPPA members who are interested in large format photography will take a moment to check out their new efforts.

By registering as a member of the Web site's Forum, which is free, photographers can submit a link to themselves and their personal Web sites and be included in the LFPA's online directory.
