Biographical Statement

Currently I am going to graduate school but I was a photo editor and/or staff photographer for 15+ years at different newspapers throughout the country. I've never worked for a marquee paper, but I do know what it's like to look for a front page feature at 6pm. I believe that photographers have to be journalists first, not "just shooters." We need to document peoples lives and show why our readers should care.
