Student Employment Resources: Interviewing Tips
-
Be on time and prepared for your interview.
-
Learn as much about your employer as they're prepared to learn about you.
-
Dress appropriately, in formal attire when appropriate or business casual.
-
Learn something from each interview, even if you don't get the internship or job.
-
Spend time preparing and presenting your portfolio. Make it an accurate reflection of your skills and motivation to do well. It should reflect the interest of the employer. Keep it to around 10 photos and one photo story.
