The Edit Foundry (formerly the Cutting Edge Workshop) is part of the Convergence this year. This day long seminar is a hands on workshop on Avid.
The Edit Foundry is going to give you the base, the foundation to build upon. Everyone and anyone who edits video will learn in this unique setting.
This is NOT a beginner course. If you don't have non-linear experience this workshop is NOT for you. During our six hour workshop we're going to not only discuss techniques, but you'll apply them on a Avid Newscutter. You'll come away from this intense day with a better knowledge of pacing, motion in frame, match action, dragnet edits, eye movement and much more. We'll also discuss editing theory and logic.
If you were in Immersion or the Avid workshop in Norman, this is the next step.
The Edit Foundry workshop is being offered on Friday and again on Saturday so you may choose which session works best with your schedule.
