The Fulton Bank sign, a fixture of the Harrisburg skyline for over 30 years dimmed its lights in December for a makeover. The sign was re-lighted Tuesday May 6th. complete with 20,000 LED lights that will use 10 amps of power as opposed to the previous 200 amps and will cost approximately $860 per year as opposed to the former price of almost $14,000 per year. Technician Chad Saunders of Signmedix of Lancaster, Pa. climbs back down the 300 plus foot tall sign after checking out the view. Saunders was one of the workers that spent a few months replacing the old flourescent tubes with LED's.
