Journalism Industry Reels From Week Of Job Cuts

As the year comes to an end a wave of layoffs and buyouts has hit publication after publication, and in just the past week the cuts have come "at a blistering pace," Jack Mirkinson reports in The Huffington Post. Staffers at The Daily were shown the door, and The New York Times asked staffers to sign up for buy-outs.
