The first New York Photography Portfolio Review has been launched, sponsored and announced today by The New York Times LENS blog's editor Jim Estrin. It's a free two-day gathering in April featuring private portfolio critiques, discussions, and workshops on topics ranging from picture editing to grant writing to best business practices for photographers.
LENS editors will pick 160 photographers to meet with leading picture editors, museum curators, book publishers, and gallery owners for one-on-one portfolio reviews. And a special time has been set aside for young photographers, ages 18 to 27.
See the LENS blog here to find out how to apply for this inaugural New York Photography Portfolio Review.
