2013 marked the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, which is considered a significant turning point in the American Civil War. General George Meade's Union forces defeated Confederate General Robert E. Lee over the course of several days of fighting in and around the Pennsylvania town. People flocked from around the nation and beyond to mark the anniversary. Ailsa Harl, 22, of St. Cloud, MN poses for a portrait at a reenactment encampment on Thursday July 04, 2013 in Gettysburg, PA.
