Paparazzo Daniele Lo Presti Assassinated In Rome
ROME (March 2, 2013) – A leading paparazzo who has photographed many of the world's biggest celebrities has been shot dead in Rome. Daniele Lo Presti, 42, was found with a single bullet in his head, prompting fears he had fallen victim to a Mafia-style execution.
The photographer was found in a pool of blood under a bridge on a jogging trail in Testaccio, the Roman neighborhood along the Tiber River that is south of the Vatican and across from Trastevere. At first police believed he may have fallen to his death, but an autopsy found a single bullet lodged in his head.
