Photojournalist, The News & Advance
I currently work as a photojournalist at The News and Advance in Lynchburg, Va. As a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in photojournalism, I've interned as a photographer for The Free Lance-Star, The Bakersfield Californian and Messenger Post Media. My images have published by TIME, USA Today, NBC News, The Seattle Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and the Los Angeles Times.
I've freelanced for the Democrat and Chronicle while assisting Magnum photographer Alec Soth during the House of Pictures project hosted by Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, N.Y. I’ve also had the pleasure of working alongside POYi photojournalist Brenda Ann Kenneally to organize terabytes of photographs and video collected over a period of nine years to help produce a layered multimedia project, Upstate Girls.
I'm available for freelance assignments locally and abroad.
