Michael P. King is a photojournalist at the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Wis., specializing in sports, local community news and multimedia storytelling. He is NPPA's national vice president.

Before moving to Wisconsin, Michael earned a degree in photojournalism from Ohio University's School of Visual Communication. He previously worked for the Green Bay Press-Gazette and The Post~Crescent of Appleton, Wis. He has freelanced for clients such as The Associated Press, and The Columbus Dispatch.

He is available for freelance work anywhere, provided it does not present a conflict of interest with his employer.
