Kevin Coughlin is a true New York-based aerial multimedia rock star! Pulitzer sharing photojournalist, private pilot/aerial photographer, video journalist, director of photography, and kick-ass sports and portrait photographer. Since 1985, Kevin has photographed major news and sporting events ranging from Woodstock '94, the 9/11/01 attacks on the World Trade Center , the World Series, Super Bowl, and US Opens in golf and tennis. He's photographed 4 U.S. Presidents, 2 Popes, and 5 Rolling Stones tours! You've likely seen his work in: The New York Times, NY Daily News, New York Post, Newsday, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, The Philadelphia Inquirer, & People. Kevin is currently a Picture Editor with the New York Daily News and runs an aerial photography business called Flying Dog . He is an active member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary, currently holding the grade of 1st Lieutenant and is mission rated in aerial photography. He flies his own airplane out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY - right smack in the middle of Long Island between New York City and the Hamptons - Who Better?
