I am a photojournalist, specializing in conceptual portraiture in my work for the Associated Press, NGO and corporate organizations and family portraits, that is driven by a fresh, creative perspective & passion for capturing extra-ordinary movements. The results - photos that have visual impact and lasting memories.

Awards have included a Eisenstadt Award for Magazine Photography, three Pulitzer nominations, Overseas Press Association, Association of Black Media Workers, Native American Journalists Association, National Headliners Awards, Sigma Delta Chi, POYi and National Press Photographers Association POY. My work for non-profit organizations has earned me CASE awards.
I taught photojournalism at the University of Oklahoma and worked with students in the Associated Press' Diverse Visions workshop and the Native American Journalists conferences.
