I am a Brazilian freelance editorial photographer living in Los Angeles for the past 15 years. My work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and publications in the United States and abroad and focuses on capturing moments that evoke the social and economic aspects of the world. I have experience in commercial, editorial, documentary and travel photography. For 13 months I was a photo contributor for Transterra Media located in Beirut, Lebanon; providing high quality editorial images and photo essays. I also contributed for The Globalist, Private Magazine, Photo Brigade among others.
I have a BA in International Relations from the University of California at Santa Barbara and speak fluent Portuguese, English and conversational Spanish. I have dual US and Brazilian citizenship, and in the last few years I have traveled extensively to over 42 countries to pursued my own projects. I also have extensive experience sourcing and coordinating translators and overseas “fixers”. I am available for assignments in the US and overseas.
