I am an award-winning, published photographer and own full professional equipment (including full frame digital) and glass to cover any situation. I have been working as The Phodographer®, taking formal and informal portraits of dogs. I own a portable continuous light studio to capture the canine portraits. Besides dogs, I have my own content and image bank of over 11,000 images, on a much wider variety of subjects.

My extensive public relations background gives me a deep understanding of the journalistic needs of the photographic customer, both canine and human. (Although most of the canine issues can be solved with a bit of bacon.) It has also helped me hone a strong editorial background, including strong command of typography and grid systems and knowledge of AP visual and verbal content style.

For over a decade I provided visual content, graphic design and creative expertise to develop and produce on line and off line publications and collateral material for both internal and external audiences for a variety of clients

I am proficient in Adobe CS 5.0 and 6.0 including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, on Mac and PC platforms. I have created curricula and mentored the use of these programs to creative people I have managed.

My experience in marketing includes strong knowledge of communications strategy and brand management for a host of clients. I have successfully translated brand and story visualization to publications and collateral material, environments, and can easily demonstrate mastery level knowledge of graphic-design equipment, tools, and techniques.

I have deep production knowledge to produce high quality print production files and I have worked closely with editors and clients, managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and communicating with internal colleagues and clients.
