I’ve worked as a professional news/documentary videography for 30 years at KITV 4 Television, the ABC affiliate in Honolulu. In addition to daily news I also travelled the world shooting and editing specials, sports stories and documentaries, including the aftermath of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami, the canonization of Father Damien and Mother Marianne Cope at the Vatican in Rome, specials in Thailand, India, China, Paris, Italy and other exotic locations. I covered President Obama’s second inauguration in Washington, DC.

I’ve won a number of Emmy Awards for videography, awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, as well as an Edward R. Murrow award.

I own and shoot with high-end 4-K professional cameras, including the Blackmagic Ursa Mini, and a Panasonic Lumix GH-4. I have a full complement of professional lenses, microphones and lighting. I edit in Final Cut Pro and Adobe premier. I am competent in all aspects of shooting, editing and digital output.
